Businesses (SMEs and corporates) with an annual sales turnover of RM100 million and above (RM50 million and above for services sector) in the latest financial year or an aggregate of RM300 million and RM150 million respectively in the past three financial years.

Since the incorporation of HSH Frozen Foods Sdn Bhd and the birth of “Kanika”, the company has placed its sole focus on providing premium quality frozen food at affordable prices. We, Kanika have wide range of premium quality frozen food varying from frozen seafood, Japanese food, Western food, surimi steamboat products, beverage, dessert and traditional Nyonya Kuih. These products are sourced from reputable suppliers from all around world like France, Japan and China to name a few. Kanika uses its warehouse capacity of 6000 metric tons to store the goods and distribute them using our very own cold logistic with a fleet of 21 frozen trucks.

The company is honored to achieve several awards such as 2009 Golden Bull Awards, 2010 and 2011 Thailand Thai Best Friend (TBF) Awards, 2014 Sin Chew Business Excellence Award and many more over the past few years in business. The company’s unique selling point is providing the most convenient way to both consumer and business buyers to order frozen food online. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, the company has quickly transitioned from its traditional commerce to e-commerce platform and quickly developed 2 websites to overcome the restriction of physical visit to offline store: Kanika Official Website for end-user and Kanika B2B for business and wholesale purchase over a short period of time. Kanika also built up its brand awareness by advertising in social media platform and marketplace platforms such as Grab, Lazada and Shopee as well as helping the underprivilege communities through CSR campaigns.

Kanika B2B has also come up with a mobile app: Kanika Biz to provide even greater convenience to its existing business customer. Kanika’s quick response and adaptation to the use of technology has provided itself great leverage and a cutting edge over its competitor by exposing itself to a wider customer base and retaining existing customer. It is due to the willingness of the company’s management to digitalize the business in order to allow Kanika to remain competitive and sustainable throughout the pandemic which is why Kanika deserved to be a winner of the 2021 Golden Bull Awards.
